About Ireland’s Premier Wireless Broadband Provider
Ripplecom was established following the merger of two Wireless Internet
Service Providers (WISP's) - Amocom Broadband and Callidus / Omnitel and
includes Farmer Business Development (FBD) in its shareholder base.
In May 2010 Ripplecom acquired the assets and customer-base of ICE broadband.
The acquisition gives Ripplecom over 500 access points in 18 counties.
Ripplecom is focused on the delivery of broadband connectivity to Rural as
well as Urban and Semi-Urban Ireland.
The Company's core focus is to provide broadband connectivity to
Residential, SOHO, SME and Corporate customers within an ever expanding
footprint and will continue to work with communities to deliver a
sustainable broadband service.
Ripplecom brings together an alliance of strategic partners that allows the
delivery of enhanced services to new and existing customers. The ICE Broadband acquisition re-enforces our relationships with these partners, including key datacentres and resilient fibre network providers.
