Moving Day! On 1 July 2021 Ripplecom’s Residential Customers will Transfer to Digiweb Ltd.


In 2020, Ripplecom was acquired by the Digiweb Group*. Since then our teams have worked closely together to build our network, expand our products and enhance our services. Now the time has come for the next exciting step in our integration journey. On 1st July 2021, Ripplecom’s residential customers will become customers of Digiweb Ltd.


With the transfer, Ripplecom’s customers will join thousands of happy Digiweb customers. Digiweb has been providing broadband and voice services to Irish homes since 1997. The Digiweb team, based in Dundalk, take huge pride in their great service and are consistently rated as ‘Excellent’ on Trustpilot.

I’m a Ripplecom residential customer. What does this mean for me?

– Your service will continue as normal after 1st July 2021.


– There is no change to the monthly cost of your service.

– There is no change to the Terms and Conditions of your contract.

– Service invoices after 1st July 2021 will be issued by Digiweb Limited.

– If you pay by Direct Debit, the name appearing on your bank account will change to the Digiweb Group.

Calendar Month Billing
Digiweb are aligning all billing and payment timings to a “calendar month” basis. This means all customers will be billed on a specific date instead of on a date related to when they first subscribed for the service. If your service commenced mid-month, the first Digiweb invoice you receive may be for a smaller amount than usual, in order to update your billing to the end of the month. The following invoice will be for the normal monthly fee.

All Ripplecom customers have been issued a communication ‘Change of Bank Account and Novation of Contract, Ripple Communications Limited (trading as “Ripplecom”) to Digiweb Limited (“Digiweb”) (An Affiliate)’ that sets out what will happen on 1st July 2021 in detail. You can request a copy of that communication by contacting customerchange@ripplecom.net and quoting your Ripplecom account number.
